Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES)

The Hong Kong Government launched CIES on 27 October 2003 to facilitate the entry for residence by capital investment entrants. Under the Scheme, persons who have invested no less than HK$10 million in permissible investment assets are eligible for admission into Hong Kong as capital investment entrants.

Eligible Schroder International Selection Fund under CIES:

Hong Kong Dollar Bond	A Acc - HKD A Dis - HKD A1 Acc - HKD	To provide a return of capital growth and income primarily through investment in a portfolio of bonds and other fixed and floating rate securities denominated in HKD and issued by governments, government agencies, supra-national and corporate issuers worldwide.
Hong Kong Equity	A Acc - HKD A Acc - USD A1 Acc - HKD D Acc - HKD	To provide capital growth primarily through investment in equity securities of Hong Kong SAR companies.
